About Carna Zacharias-Miller

I am a certified EFT practitioner (by Gary Craig, recognized by AAMET). Currently I am in training to become a certified Master Practitioner in Dr. Silvia Hartmann’s Energy EFT.

I am a member (“Advanced EFT Practitioner”) of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET).

Originally, I was a writer. In Germany, I studied literature and philosophy, and graduated from the German School of Journalism, Munich. I worked as a journalist for a daily newspaper and public Bavarian Television before becoming a published author of novels, young adult and children’s books, and self-help non-fiction.

After marrying an American, I moved to the United States in 1993, and now live  in Tucson, Arizona. In 2003 I self-published my first book in English: “THE HEART JOURNAL – A Spiritual Workbook”.

In 2006 “THE MISSING MOTHER HANDBOOK - How to heal childhood abandonment and rejection with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)” followed as an eBook. This book is still available.

I have been educating myself for many years in the area of spirituality, psychology, energy work, myths and fairy tales. When I came in contact with Gary Graig’s EFT, a form of mindful acupressure, I knew I had found my calling as a mind/body/spirit practitioner.

The first session I experienced as a client took me right back to the time around my birth and the deep feeling of abandonment connected with it. (My mother was schizophrenic, and I grew up without her.) I experienced an emotional release that years of psychotherapy, as valuable as it was, could not accomplish. And so it became my desire and vision to help other women and men with similar issues to feel better about themselves.

I also work with primary caregivers of family members who have Alzheimer’s, dementia, or any other serious illness. This is a very stressful and demanding situation, and it brings up all kinds of  strong emotions like abandonment, loss, grief, anger, or guilt. Please contact me for a free consultation if you need help. EFT is a wonderful tool to provide support . I have personal experience in this, so I know exactly what  you are going through.

I also work with grief and bereavement situations.
